The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunderland tried to score with a low kick but Roy checks it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Roy.
Roy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sunderland finds it's way round the side to connect with Roy's head.
Nice body kick there by Sunderland.
Sunderland buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sunderland lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sunderland misses with a series of wild punches.
Sunderland bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Roy's head backwards.
Sunderland throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sunderland displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roy throws out the jab.
Roy blocks a leg kick.
Roy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sunderland pivots, looking for a leg kick but Roy is out of range and Sunderland settles back down.
Sunderland defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Roy.
Roy lands a glancing blow to the side of Sunderland's head.

Sunderland thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sunderland throws a body punch but Roy moves out of range.
Roy on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Roy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sunderland counters with a thumping low kick.
Sunderland throws a leg kick which misses Roy's front leg but catches the back leg as Roy tries to avoid it.
Roy walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sunderland.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sunderland lands with an uppercut that bounces Roy off the cage and back into range.
Sunderland ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Roy moves away.
Roy avoids the body shot from Sunderland.
Sunderland fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sunderland fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sunderland scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sunderland dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Roy. That did some damage!
Sunderland jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Roy is rocked!
A head kick by Sunderland - that's a beauty! Roy is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Sunderland can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
