Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kid Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Denes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denes shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Denes showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Li keeping hold of Denes's head, controlling as best he can.
Li is pressing down on Denes's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Denes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Denes wants to stand up but Li is controlling him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Denes takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Denes is not content to let Li control the position.
Li looks up at the clock and then as Denes takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Li smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Li wants to lay and pray for a moment but Denes keeps working.
Denes is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Denes takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Li is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Denes has escaped the position, nice work there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Li grinds an elbow into Denes's temple.
Denes is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Li controls the position from side control.

Kid Li dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Li is looking to chop away at Denes's legs.

Li gets caught flat footed, as Denes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Denes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Li manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Li can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Denes is looking to escape.
Li lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Denes wants to control but Li is having none of it.
