Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Rivet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivet has chosen Hol' Up as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom Rivet!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivet swinging wildly here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Carwin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Carwin dodges the punch combination from Rivet.
Rivet closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rivet lands in his opponent's guard.
Rivet sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Rivet advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carwin looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rivet is trying to work for a kimura but Carwin is defending well.
Carwin tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Rivet has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Rivet takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Let's hope that Rivet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rivet is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Carwin is forced to tap! Great finish!
