Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Struve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alistair Struve has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alistair Struve!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Walker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker is looking to clinch.
Walker tries to clinch there but Struve circles away.
Walker tries to clinch up.
Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch but Struve swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Walker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No luck for Struve with that takedown attempt.

Struve gets the takedown into side control.
Walker is looking for a sweep.
Struve connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Walker some visible discomfort.


Walker is rocked!
Struve works to advance to full mount. Walker defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Walker is still in real trouble! Can Struve finish him?
Walker is desperately trying to improve his position but Struve has a good base and remains in mount.

Struve looking for a guillotine from mount but Walker is having none of it.

Walker seems to have recovered his senses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Struve shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Struve has his foot on Walker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walker works his way back into a safe position though.

Struve will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Struve working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Walker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Walker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Struve wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walker tries to clinch there but Struve circles away.

and Walker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Walker gets in close and instigates a clinch.

and Struve counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Walker's guard now.

Walker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Struve seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Walker is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
