PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikel Millar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bryan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gangnam Style. Millar has chosen Gangnam Style as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikel Millar!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millar shoots in but Bryan avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bryan closes the distance and clinches.

Bryan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bryan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Bryan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Millar sprawls well initially but Bryan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bryan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Millar is defending well.

Millar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Millar manages to end up in side control.
Millar creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

I think Millar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
