Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Millar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Shannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Millar comes into the arena with Never Say Die blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Michael Millar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Millar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brett Shannon!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shannon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Shannon leaves Millar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Millar shoots for a double leg takedown but Shannon sprawls well. He's pushed Millar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A head kick misses from Millar.
Millar swings for the body but Shannon moves out of range.
Shannon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Shannon on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Millar. Millar obviously looking to wear him down.

Shannon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Millar sprawls well initially but Shannon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Shannon is nestled in close to Millar, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
