Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Evil Ryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Macconi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Evil Ryu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Macconi!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryu misses with a head kick.
Ryu lands with a hook. Macconi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Macconi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ryu as he jumps to the side.
Macconi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
A lull in the action here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Macconi is looking to take a break and control but Ryu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ryu gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Macconi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ryu tries to avoid it but Macconi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ryu to the ground. Ryu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Evil Ryu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
