The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weimar doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Orton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Weimar kicks Orton off and gets to his feet.
Orton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Weimar as he jumps to the side.

Orton gets a double leg takedown into Weimar's guard.
Weimar is wriggling around but Orton manages to pass to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Orton prevents Weimar from standing back up.
Orton scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Weimar tries to kick Orton off but Orton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Orton connects with a nice short shot to Weimar's temple.
Weimar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Weimar tries to roll over but Orton keeps him under control.
Orton has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Orton breaks from Weimar's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Orton lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Weimar! Orton sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Weimar and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
