The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougle avoids the body shot from Ballestrazzi.
Ballestrazzi throws an overhand right that lands on McDougle's shoulder, as McDougle tries to avoid the shot.
A punch combination from McDougle misses.
Ballestrazzi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McDougle backs up against the cage.

It looks like Arnie McDougle has been cut.

McDougle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ballestrazzi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McDougle at a distance.
McDougle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McDougle throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Ambrogio Ballestrazzi has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ballestrazzi misses with a two punch combination.
McDougle doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ballestrazzi is defended easily by McDougle.
Ambrogio Ballestrazzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ballestrazzi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McDougle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McDougle throws a chopping leg kick but Ballestrazzi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ballestrazzi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Horrible takedown by Ballestrazzi or perhaps it was just good defense by McDougle which made him look bad.

McDougle lands a big head kick that sends Ballestrazzi to the canvas! McDougle follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

In his post fight interview, Arnie McDougle started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
