And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sherk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Daniels counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Daniels lands a jab to the nose.
Daniels throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sherk on the side of the head.
Donk. Daniels catches Sherk right on the button with a cross.

Sherk shoots and misses
and Daniels counters with a two punch combo.
Sherk takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Daniels lands a head shot.

and Daniels counters with a nice uppercut.

Daniels might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sherk tries for a takedown but Daniels circles away easily
and Daniels counters with a nice uppercut.
Sherk drops his hands momentarily and Daniels takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sherk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Daniels jabs Sherk right on the nose. Sherk blinks but takes it well.
Daniels tests Sherk's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sherk takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Daniels counters with a stiff right hand.
Sherk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Daniels counters with a stiff right hand.

and Daniels cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sherk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Daniels counters with a left to the body.
Jack Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daniels darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sherk fails with the takedown
and Daniels counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Daniels connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sherk is rocked!
Daniels digs a good hook to Sherk's body.
Sherk has his takedown stuffed
and Daniels counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheers as Daniels lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sherk doesn't seem phased though.
Jab, jab by Daniels - just one landing.
Sherk walks into a straight right hand from Daniels.
Sherk looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
A punch lands to the side of Sherk 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Oh Sherk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sherk takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sherk gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Sherk tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Daniels is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Sherk buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Sherk!! Sherk is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Daniels throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Daniels!
