The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakimyuk tries to close the distance and clinch but Sinclair swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sinclair misses with a body shot.
Nice defenses there by Yakimyuk.
Yakimyuk doesn't manage to clinch there - Sinclair circles away.
Sinclair tests Yakimyuk's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yakimyuk wants to clinch up but Sinclair keeps it at a distance.

Sinclair fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yakimyuk manages to avoid it.
Sinclair misses with a hook. Yakimyuk ducked under it nicely.

Sinclair takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sinclair throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yakimyuk misses with a few strikes there.

and Yakimyuk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Yakimyuk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sinclair keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Yakimyuk rushes Sinclair with punches - Sinclair moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Sinclair goes down! Yakimyuk follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
