The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Peters keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jacobs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Peters avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tank Jacobs. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jacobs escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peters gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jacobs has his foot on Peters's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Peters works his way back into a safe position though.
Peters slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jacobs tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peters accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Peters must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jacobs lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Peters!
