The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailo looks for a takedown but Phazov sprawls well.
Sailo shoots in looking for a takedown but Phazov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sailo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sailo misses with a takedown attempt - Phazov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dama Sailo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Phazov lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Dama Sailo has been cut.
Phazov lands a big uppercut and Sailo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sailo looks OK. Phazov waves Sailo back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sailo shoots in but Phazov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Phazov drops Sailo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sailo looks back up at him and smiles so Phazov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sailo is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sailo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
