Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Harvath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvath throws a low kick but Martin moves out of range easily.

Oooooh!!! Martin has knocked Harvath down with a huge combo! Martin steps away and waves a wobbly Harvath back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Harvath takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Harvath walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Martin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Martin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Harvath feints a jab promting Martin to slip. Harvath then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Martin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Martin is aggressively charging in as Harvath backs up avoiding any damage. Harvath tosses out a jab and Martin runs right into it face first! Martin is out cold! Harvath dropped down on all fours and is barking in Martin's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
