The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Grundy checks it well.
Grundy looks for a takedown but Rose sprawls well.
Grundy takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Grundy throws a body kick that misses.
Rose connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Grundy tries for a takedown but Rose sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Grundy is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Rose has his hands clasped together but Grundy extends an breaks Rose's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Grundy.
