Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erwin Santan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Mac will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Erwin Santan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Mac!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Mac looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Santan feints and as Mac raises his hands in defense, Santan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Santan trying to control the position from guard on top but Mac is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Santan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mac really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We're going to have a standup here because Erwin Santan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Mac circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mac lands with a straight right. Santan didn't see that one coming.
Mac lands with a kick to the temple. Santan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mac lands with an uppercut that bounces Santan off the cage and back into range.
Santan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Erwin Santan has been cut.
Mac thumps Santan with a low kick.
Whack! Mac lands a heavy head kick that drops Santan. The ref tackles Mac to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Santan was done.
