Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamood Hallak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatton Chantry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Tatton Chantry enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hamood Hallak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tatton Chantry!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chantry looks for a takedown but Hallak sprawls well.
Hallak slaps away a takedown attempt from Chantry, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Chantry takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Chantry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hallak's waist but Hallak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chantry off to one side.
Hamood Hallak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tatton Chantry.
Chantry doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hallak counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

It looks like Tatton Chantry has been cut.

Hallak paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hallak tries to bum rush Chantry with a series of wild strikes but Chantry uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chantry shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Chantry is rocked!
Chantry is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hallak is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Chantry.

Hallak pushes Chantry up against the cage in a clinch.

Hallak has clasped his hands together around Chantry's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Chantry manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Chantry is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Chantry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hallak trying to hold on to Chantry's head to control him but Chantry postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chantry thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Chantry is trying to control the action in half guard but Hallak is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hallak manages to get to full guard.
Chantry trying to control the position from guard on top but Hallak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Chantry throws a big elbow that misses.

Chantry drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hallak looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hallak looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hallak!

Hallak tries to score with some ground and pound. Chantry controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Chantry is looking for a sweep.
Hallak lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Chantry is trying to control Hallak's posture but Hallak avoids it.
Chantry sneaks back into half guard.

Chantry misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hallak working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Chantry is still in real trouble! Can Hallak finish him?
Hallak lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Chantry! More strikes land and this one is all over! Hallak jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
