Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie O Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshiro Mifune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Hare's entrance music is Starland Vocal Band - Afternoon Delight. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Hare throws a good cross that connects.
Mifune has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mifune there as he acknowledges the shot.

O Hare pushes Mifune up against the ropes in a clinch.
Mifune takes a knee to the side of the body.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as O Hare accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eddie O Hare.

O Hare shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than O Hare was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mifune wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by O Hare.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
O Hare working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Mifune is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

O Hare jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mifune is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mifune and O Hare has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mifune throws an off balance right hand

and O Hare counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
O Hare trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
O Hare wants to control from the top but Mifune keeps moving.

O Hare stands and steps away. Mifune gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

O Hare fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

O Hare shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

O Hare throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
O Hare is looking to take a break and control but Mifune is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
O Hare is nestled in close to Mifune, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Mifune is defending against the submission attempts here by O Hare.
O Hare stalling away here and it's allowed Mifune to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

O Hare gets to his feet. Mifune looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
O Hare is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mifune can do to turn this around?

Mifune scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
O Hare fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mifune throws a poor cross that misses
and O Hare cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
O Hare connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mifune's hands.

O Hare steps into range and cracks Mifune with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Mifune flops backwards and O Hare dives into his guard looking to finish!

Mifune is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
O Hare postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Mifune covers up, he's hurt! O Hare keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from O Hare and the ref steps in to end the fight! O Hare can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
