Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Donte Ward has been cut.
Michalek feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ward walks into a left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ward looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Michalek thumps Ward with a low kick.

Ward throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Michalek was covering up waiting for the punch and Ward finishes the takedown easily into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ward loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ward has gone for a leg lock! Michalek slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ward's guard.
Michalek will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Michalek wants to get up but he can't break Ward's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ward is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Michalek is controlling him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

We're going to have a standup here because Milan Michalek wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Michalek feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ward sprawling to the canvas! Ward rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Michalek finish him?!

That has opened up Donte Ward's cut even more.
Ward shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Michalek counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ward is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Ward is rocked!
Ward should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ward has eaten all the pies!
Ward slips a jab from Michalek.
Michalek looks to throw the jab but Ward is out of range.
Michalek swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ward drops his hands momentarily and Michalek needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Ward just on the top of the head. Ward drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Ward - he's done!

Milan Michalek gave a mention to Vitality in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
