The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith slaps away a takedown attempt from Styles, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Styles will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Styles swivels and escapes.
Styles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Smith counters with a takedown into side control.
