Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Brixson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brixson's entrance music is "Blind" by Korn. A fine choice. Nick Morris will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morris sneaks back into half guard.

Brixson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morris is just riding it out for now. Brixson eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brixson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morris's head.

Brixson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morris is just riding it out for now. Brixson eventually gives up the hold.

Brixson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Morris's guard.

Morris has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Brixson regains guard immediately.

Morris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Morris wants to get up but he can't break Brixson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
