Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lange Angelus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Chris Funkyama enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Angelus is defended easily by Funkyama.
Angelus walks into a stiff left hand from Funkyama.
Angelus throws a series of punches but Funkyama moves out of range.
Funkyama feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Angelus's calf.
Funkyama uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Angelus has time to react.
Funkyama fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Angelus on the side of the head.

Angelus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Angelus is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Funkyama will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Angelus has an Americana. Funkyama didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Angelus is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Angelus hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
