Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stryker Hades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hades comes to the cage accompanied by Give It To Ya. Nichols is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I'm So Hood. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hades stuns Nichols with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hades misses with the combination.
Hades throws a series of punches but Nichols moves out of range.
Nichols avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nichols feints and as Hades raises his hands in defense, Nichols changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nichols drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hades manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nichols has Hades in his guard.
Hades is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Stryker Hades will probably get the nod.

Nichols changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hades looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The strikes coming from Nichols are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Nichols is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hades is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hades is refusing to be controlled, as Nichols sits in half guard.

Nichols is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hades reverses the position - he's now on top in Nichols's guard.

Hades has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nichols is proving hard to escape from.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nichols accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nichols wants to pass the guard but Hades is keeping the position.

Hades misses the jab.
Nice body kick from Nichols.
Hades takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Hades wants to clinch but Nichols slips to the side

Nichols escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nichols uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hades.

Elijah Nichols showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nichols takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Hades using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Nichols has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Nichols takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Nichols tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hades swivels and escapes.
Stryker Hades has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elijah Nichols.

and Nichols cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nichols fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hades sprawls well initially but Nichols persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Nichols uses his free foot to push down on Hades's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hades.
