Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Rockzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stran Gler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockzo comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Just a Rock 'n' Roll Clown -by- Doctor Rockzo. Doctor Rockzo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Stran Gler's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doctor Rockzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stran Gler!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gler shoots in for a double leg but Rockzo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rockzo throws a chopping leg kick but Gler manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Gler moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rockzo manages to avoid it.
Gler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gler shoots in for a double leg but Rockzo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gler misses with a takedown attempt
and Rockzo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Doctor Rockzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stran Gler.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Rockzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Stran Gler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Gler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rockzo defends it nicely.

Gler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Gler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gler goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rockzo turns into him and now he's in Gler's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Doctor Rockzo will probably get the nod.

Rockzo has gone for a leg lock! Gler slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rockzo's guard.

Stran Gler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Rockzo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Gler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rockzo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gler somewhat.
Gler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rockzo's waist but Rockzo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gler off to one side.
Gler avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rockzo misses with a low kick.
Gler misses with a two punch combination.
Rockzo has managed to clinch.
Gler avoids the elbow strike from Rockzo, against the cage.
Rockzo manages to break the clinch.
Rockzo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Gler gets caught flat footed, as Rockzo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rockzo stands and throws Gler's legs to the side, diving into side control.
You can see the frustration on Gler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gler is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Rockzo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rockzo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rockzo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gler!
Gler is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rockzo's shoulder. That is not cool.

Gler is thwarting Rockzo's attempts to control the position.
Rockzo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gler passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rockzo!
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Doctor Rockzo.
I think Rockzo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
