The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vovchanchyn misses with a double jab.
Vovchanchyn misses with a two punch combination.
Vovchanchyn wants to clinch.
Chernat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Igor Vovchanchyn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vovchanchyn slips under a jab.
Vovchanchyn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chernat ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vovchanchyn moves away.
Vovchanchyn could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Vovchanchyn misses with a body shot.
Chernat misses with a two punch combination.
Vovchanchyn tries to close the distance and clinch but Chernat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vovchanchyn pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Chernat back to the cage. Vovchanchyn follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Chernat catches Vovchanchyn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Igor Vovchanchyn has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chernat takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A punch lands to the side of Chernat 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vovchanchyn scores with a body shot.
Vovchanchyn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chernat to score with a decent uppercut.

Chernat wants to land a leg kick but Vovchanchyn is out of range.
Chernat keeps the fight on the outside.
Chernat gets in close and tags Vovchanchyn with a short punch that almost sends Vovchanchyn to the mat! Oh Vovchanchyn is in big trouble! He turns his back on Chernat, trying to create some distance but Chernat rushes him, striking wildly and Vovchanchyn goes down! The referee tackles Chernat into the cage to end the fight! Chernat is one violent man!
