The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takaraivo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Peltola has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Peltola throws a jab but it's blocked by Takaraivo.

Peltola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Takaraivo circles away quickly and effectively.

Peltola goes for a takedown attempt but Takaraivo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Takaraivo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Peltola takes a step back to recover.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Peltola is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
