Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zac Dane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Scott's choice of entrance music: "Sad But True" by Metallica. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dane looks for a takedown but Scott sprawls well.
Scott slaps away a takedown attempt from Dane, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Scott tries for a takedown but Dane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Scott misses with a takedown attempt - Dane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Scott shoots in but Dane avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zac Dane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Scott.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Scott.

Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Scott seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Dane has recovered full guard.

Scott drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scott jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Scott slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Scott is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dane is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Scott tries for a kimura but Dane is defending well.

Scott goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dane has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Scott but great work by Dane.
Scott is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dane's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dane is keen to just control but Scott is a slippery customer.

Scott is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dane pulls his head out easily.

Dane is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dane is looking for a kimura but Scott is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dane to get the leverage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scott is looking for a triangle but Dane pushes his legs off easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
