Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cory Rice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Willard Sloan!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloan misses with a few strikes there.
Sloan throws a right and a left that Rice avoids nicely.
Sloan looks to land a combination but Rice avoids it well.
Sloan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rice counters with a left and a right that stings Sloan.
Rice shoots in for a takedown but Sloan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sloan fails to land with a series of punches.
Sloan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rice gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Rice tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sloan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rice has him pressed against the cage.
Rice can't find room to land a body shot as Sloan controls the action.
Sloan wants to get back to striking at distance but Rice won't allow it.

Oooooh!!! Sloan has knocked Rice down with a huge combo! Sloan steps away and waves a wobbly Rice back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Cory Rice has been cut.

Rice drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sloan pulls his leg out and moves away.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Sloan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rice is looking to clinch but Sloan is avoiding it.
Rice tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sloan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rice somewhat.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rice finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Sloan's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Rice falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Willard Sloan!
