Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Dziku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amin Sabz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabz has chosen The Champ is here! as his entrance music. Amin Sabz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabz dodges the punch combination from Dziku.

Dziku throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sabz was covering up waiting for the punch and Dziku finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dziku is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.

Dziku wanted to stand there but Sabz had control of the position.

Dziku knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sabz on the ground.

Sabz drops back looking for a leg! Dziku is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dziku manages to kick Sabz off! Sabz jumps back into Dziku's guard.
Dziku wants to stand but Sabz is controlling the position.

Sabz is looking to work some ground and pound but Dziku has wrist control.
Sabz advances position into side control!
Sabz creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Sabz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Sabz is putting a hurting on Dziku here, landing some big shots from side control.
Sabz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sabz postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Sabz has hold of Dziku's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dziku tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sabz cranks the arm and Dziku screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dziku, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
