PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billa Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hydraulix 13.5 - D.A.V.E. the Drummer & Alex Calver. Bong has chosen Bite Marks - Screeching Weasel as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Bong as Gracie shoots in.

Gracie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Bong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is looking for a sweep.
Bong sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gracie is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gracie parries the strikes from Bong easily there. Bong is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gracie to escape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bong wants to stand up but Gracie is controlling the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Billa Bong's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Billa Bong's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
