Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Bonney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nogi Kartov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonney comes to the cage accompanied by public enemy number 1. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonney darts in and clinches Kartov up against the cage.
Bonney pushes off an throws an elbow but Kartov leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Bonney lands a good knee to the midsection. Kartov won't want to take too many of those.
Bonney landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Bonney working hard to break the clinch.

Bonney breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bonney throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Kartov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bonney is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kartov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Bonney is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kartov pulls his head out easily.

Kartov seems to be looking for submissions.
Kartov is just content to waste time from the top position. Bonney takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Kartov wants to pass the guard but Bonney is keeping the position.
Bonney wants to sweep here but Kartov controlling him for the moment.

Bonney is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kartov defends well.

Kartov postures up in Bonney's guard and throws a big left but Bonney blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kartov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bonney swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bonney working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kartov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kartov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kartov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bonney has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kartov has managed to get both his arms back between Bonney's legs - danger averted.

Kartov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kartov unloads with some shots from mount but Bonney bucks and avoids them well.
Kartov manages to capitalize on a mistake by Bonney to take his back!

Kartov is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bonney defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kartov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bonney's head.
Bonney throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Bonney wants to improve his position but Kartov is controlling well.

Kartov seems to be working for a kimura but Bonney defends the submission attempt.

Bonney manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kartov's guard. Nice work there by Bonney.

Nogi Kartov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bonney falls off balance throwing a combination

and Kartov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bonney!

Kartov is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Bonney is trying to shake Kartov off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Kartov won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.
William Bonney is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bonney pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kartov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bonney.
Bonney throws a wild body kick that Kartov sees coming a mile off.
Bonney lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Kartov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bonney wants to get back to striking at distance but Kartov won't allow it.
Kartov tries to land a knee to the head but Bonney blocks with his arms.
Bonney wants to break free but Kartov has control.
Bonney has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Kartov is looking to control Bonney's arms but Bonney gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kartov has his back to the cage.

Bonney escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bonney tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bonney goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kartov feints a jab promting Bonney to slip. Kartov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bonney slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Kartov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bonney is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kartov off and has taken his back!
Bonney doesn't have the hooks in and Kartov manages to turn into his guard.

Kartov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bonney to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kartov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bonney pulls down on the head and he's put Kartov to sleep! This one is all over!
