Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brain Damage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Maci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brain Damage looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maci takes the fight into the clinch.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Maci breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Maci does no damage.
Damage swats away the attempt to clinch by Maci.
Mario Maci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maci tries to clinch up but Damage circles away and keeps his distance.
No joy there for Maci, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Damage shoots in and drives through. Maci sprawls well.

and Damage counters with a single leg into guard. Maci didn't expect that.

Damage has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Maci throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Damage.
Maci lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Damage circles away quickly and effectively.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Damage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Brain Damage is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Maci pushes Damage away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Damage gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Damage lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Maci down.

Damage works to advance to full mount. Maci defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Damage, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
