The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arathorm looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fertit with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Arathorm is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fertit doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Arathorm.

Arathorm has hold of Fertit's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fertit manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Fertit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Arathorm swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fertit misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

so Arathorm counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Arathorm drops back looking for a leg! Fertit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fertit manages to kick Arathorm off! Arathorm jumps back into Fertit's guard.

Fertit might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Arathorm kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Arathorm drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Arathorm jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fertit is on top in guard.

Arathorm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fertit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fertit wants to stand but Arathorm has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Arathorm is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fertit has his hands clasped together but Arathorm extends an breaks Fertit's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Arathorm.
