The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Bergh.
Bergh clinches with his opponent.
Bergh is looking to control Richards's arms but Richards gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bergh has his back to the cage.
Bergh wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bergh tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Bergh is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Richards to keep the fight standing.

It looks like Ben Bergh has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Richards stands up.

Richards weaves into range and cracks Bergh right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Bergh goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Richards is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). CJ Richards!
