Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mamed Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Mondeux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalidov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mondeux.
Khalidov defending well as Mondeux loads up on a big left hand.
Khalidov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mondeux defends it nicely.

Horrible takedown by Khalidov or perhaps it was just good defense by Mondeux which made him look bad.

Mondeux is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Khalidov has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Khalidov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mondeux knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Khalidov swings around for an armbar but Mondeux sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Khalidov's guard.
Mondeux has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Khalidov is proving hard to escape from.
Khalidov is looking to stand up but Mondeux isn't so interested in that idea.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Khalidov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Mondeux stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mondeux wants it to stay on the feet.

Mondeux cracks Khalidov with a hook to the temple - Khalidov is on wobbly legs here! Mondeux swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Khalidov falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Mondeux wins by TKO!

Ronnie Mondeux decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
