Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Kotkiewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotkiewicz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Papa Roach - Last Resort kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kamil Kotkiewicz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kotkiewicz did well to prevent Alvarez getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Horrible takedown by Kotkiewicz or perhaps it was just good defense by Alvarez which made him look bad.
Alvarez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kotkiewicz manages to avoid it.

Kotkiewicz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alvarez pinned against the cage. Alvarez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kotkiewicz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alvarez tries to avoid it but Kotkiewicz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alvarez to the ground. Alvarez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Diego Alvarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kamil Kotkiewicz.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
