Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gannicus Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake comes to the cage accompanied by War is my Destiny. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartacus walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Drake throws a shot from downtown. Spartacus moves away and avoids it.
Drake lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Spartacus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Drake.
Drake fails to land with a series of punches.
Drake throws the left hand but Spartacus avoids the punch easily.
Spartacus throws a poor cross that misses
and Drake counters with a series of strikes. Spartacus will be more careful next time no doubt.
Drake looks to land a combination but Spartacus avoids it well.
Spartacus misses with a double jab
and Drake counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Drake throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Spartacus moves away from the strike by Drake.
The crowd cheers as Drake lands an impressive looking overhand right. Spartacus doesn't seem phased though.

Spartacus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Drake manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Spartacus pushes Drake back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Damian Drake will probably get the nod.

Spartacus needs to keep his hands up - Drake had a free shot at his head there.

Drake shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Spartacus eats them both and turns towards Drake to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Spartacus throws a big uppercut that drops Drake! More strikes from Spartacus and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Drake lies dazed against the cage as Spartacus celebrates with his cornermen!
