PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Borden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Malibu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shawn Malibu!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malibu clinches up with Borden and pushes him back against the cage.
Malibu with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A short right from Malibu on the inside.
Malibu scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Malibu lands with a left to the head.
Malibu lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Borden tries to score a body lock takedown but Malibu shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Malibu lands a hook to the side of the head.
Malibu working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Malibu is fighting off a takedown attempt but Borden is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Malibu to the mat. Malibu regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Malibu wants to sweep here but Borden controlling him for the moment.
Borden throws a big right hand that misses.

Malibu throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Borden's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Malibu stuffs the takedown attempt from Borden. Borden gets slowly back to his feet.
Malibu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Malibu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Borden.
Malibu lands a big head kick that sends Borden to the canvas! Malibu follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
