Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikey Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre De La Rosa!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Rosa wants to clinch but Kim slips to the side
enabling Kim to counter with a crisp jab.
De La Rosa keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Andre De La Rosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De La Rosa darts in trying to clinch
and Kim makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. De La Rosa really felt that one!

De La Rosa is trying to drag Kim to the mat but Kim just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

De La Rosa has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kim after a bit of a struggle.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mikey Kim will probably get the nod.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mikey Kim.
Well Kim has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
