and Vell counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Vell throws a quick inside leg kick.
Vell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vell moves forwards but Scheisse connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Vell lands a left and a right that send Scheisse crashing to the mat, dazed. Vell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Vell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Vell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Scheisse is squirming around, avoiding Vell's attempts to control the action.
Vell breaks from Scheisse's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Vell with shots to the head and body - Scheisse looks very uncomfortable down there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vell prevents Scheisse from getting the reversal.
Scheisse wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Vell.
Scheisse is looking to improve his position but Vell isn't that keen on the idea.
