Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krun Dorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milas Overett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krun Dorian has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorian shoots in but Overett avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dorian shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Overett as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Dorian or perhaps it was just good defense by Overett which made him look bad.

Dorian drops back, looking for a kneebar! Overett looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Overett looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Overett!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Overett is looking for a kimura but Dorian is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Overett to get the leverage.
Dorian is looking for a sweep. Overett is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
