Thompson has chosen Danzig - Mother as his entrance music. Rick Thompson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy cracks the inside of Thompson's front leg.
Bundy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thompson.
Bundy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Ted Bundy has been cut.
Bundy throws an overhand right that lands on Thompson's shoulder, as Thompson tries to avoid the shot.
Oooooh!!! Thompson has knocked Bundy down with a huge combo! Thompson steps away and waves a wobbly Bundy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thompson cracks a nice hook into Bundy's ribs.
Thompson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Thompson cracks Bundy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bundy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Thompson finish him?
Ted Bundy's cut is getting worse.
Thompson moves out of range as Bundy strikes.
A slow jab from Bundy misses its intended target.
Bundy throws out a leg kick but Thompson moves out of range and Bundy only half commits.
Thompson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bundy misses with a left hand
and Thompson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ted Bundy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bundy is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Thompson's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bundy. Thompson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bundy throws a leg kick but Thompson sees it coming and moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bundy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thompson moves away.
Ted Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bundy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Thompson counter with a right hand.
Jeez, Ted Bundy's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ted Bundy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rick Thompson!
Rick Thompson took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
