The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCracken with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ferguson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McCracken counters with a right hand to the body.
McCracken throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ferguson misses with a few strikes there.
McCracken loads up on a big right hand but Ferguson slips the punch.
Mirko McCracken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by McCracken.

It looks like Grant Ferguson has been cut.
McCracken throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ferguson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McCracken moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
McCracken lands with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McCracken throws an overhand right that lands on Ferguson 's shoulder, as Ferguson tries to avoid the shot.
McCracken lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ferguson will feel that in the morning.
McCracken with a hook.
A nice inside leg kick there by McCracken. That's going to slow Ferguson down.
McCracken scores with a hook.
McCracken digs a good body shot into Ferguson 's ribs.
Ferguson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ferguson tries to bum rush McCracken with a series of wild strikes but McCracken uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McCracken lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A decent looking cross lands there for McCracken.
Ferguson fails to land with a series of punches.

Ferguson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McCracken.
Ferguson is breathing heavily.
McCracken lands a right hook to the body.
A combination from McCracken does no damage.

Oooooh!!! McCracken has knocked Ferguson down with a huge combo! McCracken steps away and waves a wobbly Ferguson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This has been an exciting period of action!
McCracken wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A right-left combo lands from McCracken.

Grant Ferguson 's cut is getting worse.
McCracken throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A kick lands to the mid section there for McCracken.
McCracken throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ferguson on the side of the head.

Grant Ferguson 's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
and McCracken counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ferguson ! He's just covering up as McCracken starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
