Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Lard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bubba Lard has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lard gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lard looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lard is looking to take this one to the mat.

Lard gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Moore regains guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Moore is trying to control the position from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Moore is on top in guard.
Lard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lard tries to get out of the position.

Moore stands up from Lard's guard - Moore perhaps looking for a knockout.
Lard tries to close the distance and clinch but Moore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Moore tries for a takedown but Lard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lard gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Moore to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moore wants to control from the top but Lard keeps moving.
Moore advances position into side control!
Moore takes a little break here. Lard wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moore wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lard keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moore is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lard has escaped the position, nice work there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Moore has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lard!
Moore tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Moore breaks from Lard's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Moore punishing his opponent with strikes.

Moore wants to finish this one by submission but Lard is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Moore.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moore controlling the pace for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Derick Moore dominated that round.
That's time! Lard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Moore throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Moore is in Lard's guard.

Moore drops back looking for a leg! Lard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lard manages to kick Moore off! Moore jumps back into Lard's guard.
Moore forces his way into half guard.
Moore stalling.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moore on the ground.
Moore not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moore sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Derick Moore has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Derick Moore wasn't active enough on the ground.
Sloppy strikes from Moore. Those never looked like landing.

Moore rushes Lard and presses him up against the cage.
Moore is pressed up against the cage. Lard has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Moore down to the mat. Moore avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Moore shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Moore showed some decent athleticism there.
Moore works his way into full mount!

Moore fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Lard taking shots to the head.
Moore won't let Lard get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Derick Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Moore clinches up with Lard and pushes him back against the cage.
Moore goes for a takedown attempt but Lard pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Moore looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Good work by Moore as he checks the leg kick.
Moore fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bubba Lard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Moore looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Moore gets to his feet. Lard looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Moore is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lard's half guard.
Moore passes the guard and advances to mount!

Lard is trying to stand but he's just given Moore his back.
Moore is landing with strikes. Lard can't take much more of this.

Lard won't enjoy being in this position. Moore looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Lard is tapping - it's over boys! Moore picks up the submission victory!
