Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between el kelmanoe kel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muhammad Obongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, el kelmanoe kel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Muhammad Obongo!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obongo throws a jab but it's blocked by kel.
kel looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Obongo throws a big overhand right that connects, sending kel tumbling to the canvas!


kel is rocked!


It looks like el kelmanoe kel has been cut.
Obongo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. kel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oh kel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Obongo postures up in kel's guard and throws a big left but kel blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Obongo throws a big right hand that misses.
Obongo wants to stand but kel has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
kel seems to have got his legs back now.
Obongo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. kel is keeping the position for now.
Obongo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Obongo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. kel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

kel has taken the fight to the clinch.
kel keeps control of Obongo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Obongo wants to break free but kel has control.
Obongo gets underhooks to prevent kel's takedown attempt.

Obongo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. kel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Obongo tries to break the clinch but kel is controlling the position.
kel fails to pull the fight into his guard.
kel is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Obongo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for el kelmanoe kel. That's going to take a lot out of him.

kel prevents Obongo from breaking the clinch.
kel has Obongo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Obongo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Obongo wants a takedown but no success here.
Obongo stops a takedown attempt from kel.
kel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Obongo pulls his leg out and moves away.
kel has a takedown stuffed.
Obongo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
kel blocks the body kick.

kel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Obongo throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Obongo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with kel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Obongo wants to get back to his feet but kel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Obongo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as kel controls the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Obongo wants to sweep but no luck.
Obongo wants to stand up but kel is controlling him.
Obongo thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Obongo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Obongo scores with a jab.
Obongo fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks kel square on the jaw! Damn, kel is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Muhammad Obongo!
