Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ed Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miska Wuopio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thompson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Born To Win" by Papoose. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wuopio is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Thompson moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ed Thompson!
Ed Thompson took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
