Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Craig Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuo Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig Little!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kazuo Hashimoto!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little closes the distance but Hashimoto moves to the side
and Hashimoto counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hashimoto misses with a hook

and Little counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hashimoto's guard now.
Little is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Little decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hashimoto, up you get!

Hashimoto tries to sprawl but Little drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Little really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Little has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Little stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Hashimoto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Little.
Little shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hashimoto defends it nicely.
Hashimoto takes a swing at Little's ribcage but misses.

Little misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Little misses the shot to the body.
Little needs to keep his hands up - Hashimoto had a free shot at his head there.
Hashimoto wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Little misses with a double jab
and Hashimoto counters with a left to the body.

Little shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hashimoto manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Little stops Hashimoto from standing up.

Hashimoto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We're going to have a standup here because Craig Little wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Little moves to clinch but Hashimoto breaks away
and Hashimoto counters with a stiff right hand.

Hashimoto throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hashimoto dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Little takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hashimoto punishes Little's body with a nice straight punch.
Hashimoto circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hashimoto throws a lazy uppercut

and Little counters with a single leg into guard. Hashimoto didn't expect that.
Little trying to control but Hashimoto is working from the bottom.
Hashimoto wants to hit a switch here but Little passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hashimoto there!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hashimoto is looking to improve his position but Little isn't that keen on the idea.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hashimoto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Little trying to control but Hashimoto is having none of it.
Hashimoto is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Little tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hashimoto tries to lock up and control but Little gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Craig Little dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Hashimoto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hashimoto throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Little on the side of the head.
Hashimoto keeps the fight on the outside.
Little misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hashimoto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Little was well out of range. Poor timing from Hashimoto.
Little fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jab, jab by Hashimoto - just one landing.
Hashimoto scores with a leg kick.
Kazuo Hashimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Little shoots in for a takedown but Hashimoto shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Little. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Horrible takedown by Little or perhaps it was just good defense by Hashimoto which made him look bad.
Craig Little is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nice sprawl there from Hashimoto as Little shoots in.
Kazuo Hashimoto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hashimoto connects with a single shot there.
Little shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Little looks to score with a jab to the body but Hashimoto is just out of range.

Little closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hashimoto's guard.
Little trying to control the position from guard on top but Hashimoto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Little's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Little slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hashimoto is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Little's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Little! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Hashimoto has tapped! This one is allllll over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Craig Little!
During a confident post fight interview, Craig Little thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
