Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samson Deleyel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sui Hing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sui Hing has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sui Hing!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hing is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hing is trying to drag Deleyel to the mat but Deleyel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hing shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Deleyel defends it nicely.

Deleyel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hing is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Deleyel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hing on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Deleyel is trying to control the position but Hing postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hing content to stall in guard here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A close round but Sui Hing will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Deleyel throws the left hand but Hing avoids the punch easily.
Deleyel swings for the body but Hing moves out of range.

Deleyel drives through and clinches with Hing against the cage.
Deleyel scores with a hook to the body.
Hing jumps guard but Deleyel stands there with Hing around his waist. Hing gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hing utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Hing has picked Deleyel up - he's going for a ride! Hing dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Deleyel is trying to get back to full guard.
Hing seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Let's hope that Hing has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sui Hing.
Hing tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deleyel paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hing.
Deleyel scores with a one two! Hing had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Hing closes the distance and clinches up with Deleyel, looking for a takedown. Hing pushes Deleyel against the cage but Deleyel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Deleyel does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
