The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Klein landing knees to the body.
Klein is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Klein stalling in the clinch.
Klein creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jacobs's defenses.
Klein landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Klein comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Klein lands an elbow inside that Jacobs shrugs off.
Klein breaks the clinch.
Klein closes the distance and pushes Jacobs back into the cage.

Jacobs is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Klein is defending well.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jacobs tries to score a power double leg takedown but Klein sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jacobs somewhat.
Mickey Klein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matthew Jacobs.
Klein takes the fight into the clinch.
Klein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Klein throws a quick head kick that knocks Jacobs silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Klein is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

After the fight, Mickey Klein was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
