Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Reese!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reese throws a front kick that sends Stglitz stumbling back into the cage.
Reese thumps Stglitz with a low kick.
Stglitz misses with a low kick.

Reese looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Stglitz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Stglitz tries to roll over but Reese keeps him under control.
Reese is looking to advance position but Stglitz won't allow it.

Reese throws a strike but Stglitz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Reese bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stglitz's guard.

Reese postures up in Stglitz's guard and throws a big left but Stglitz blocks it.

Reese stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stglitz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stglitz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stglitz is trying to control the position but Reese postures up.

Stglitz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Reese defends well.

Reese throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stglitz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Reeseis looking to pass into half guard but Stglitz pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Stglitz is in guard.

Reese tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Stglitz with a nice head shot there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Reese will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Reese displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stglitz throws out the jab.
Reese shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stglitz defends it nicely.

Stglitz has gone for a leg lock! Reese slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stglitz's guard.
Kyle Reese has got the better of the ground game so far.
Reese throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stglitz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Reese stands up over Stglitz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Stglitz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stglitz wants to get back to his feet but Reese passes into half guard.

Reese is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Stglitz is refusing to be controlled, as Reese sits in half guard.
Stglitz is looking to improve his position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reese thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stglitz's head.
Stglitz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reese is working away from the top position though.
Stglitz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Reese lands a nice short elbow.
Stglitz wants to control but Reese is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Reese misses with a head shot. Stglitz uses the momentum to regain guard.

Reese throws an elbow that misses. Stglitz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Reese's guard. Nice move by Stglitz!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stglitz is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Reese has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Stglitz is looking to defend but Reese has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Stglitz! Reese pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Stglitz taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kyle Reese!
